Dale Nougher Photography

Photography has become an expression of my visual arts background. As a graphic artist/sign writer in the 1970s l painted and drew my way into ‘door to door’ sales in Sydney, painting commissioned works of my pencil drawings. Photography and the joy of post editing is an expression of my experimental arts background.

At the moment I’m experimenting with double exposure and the Snapseed App. I’m currently using a Lumix TZ60 camera because it’s lightweight, not cumbersome and excellent for bushwalking. I’ve always had a fascination as an amateur ornithologist and like getting up close to birds with a lens and, to explore what the naked eye would not normally see. It’s also one of the hardest challenges I’ve experienced as a photographer.
